My Server 2008 R2 home server is intermittently (every 30 minutes or so, for about 3-4 minutes) creating a huge amount of connections which reaches the 4096 connection limit, thus effectively DOSing our internet connection.

I've run a couple of network traffic monitors, and it appears to be a system process causing the problem.

I thought I'd fixed it by reinstalling Comodo Antivirus, but it appears that wasn't the problem.

Any thought? Thanks in advance.
